Match Report |
A strong performance from a developing side. It is a pleasure to see the younger players developing their skills and confidence each week. Luke Oakarr scored a hat trick and was voted man of the match but there were many strong contenders. Seb frost scored from a short with a pin point accurate flick. He also dominated mid-field along with Sam Easterbrook. Jude williams put in 1005 effort again and was rewarded with another excellent centre forward's goal.james parsons showed real strength in the tackle and continued his rapid progress positionally. Patrick Acharya showed plenty of skillls whilst holding up the ball and put in some excellent crosses. His green card was simply a result of his commitment to the game and over enthusiasm ( as he explained to us at teas afterwards whislst trying, sucessfully, to avoid dog of the day.) Tom langrishe did an excellent job of marshalling the back four. Toby A, Mike James and Gareth Parsons all putting in sterling performances to ensure the shut out. Isaac had little to do but did it with confidence. Dan Forder made his league debut and nearly scored with his first touch ( he also nearly scored several other times). James got dog for leaving his stick in the changing room and not having shorts. In all a strong performance and a very enjoyable game.
